watching ‘the devil and daniel johnston’ makes me feel weird
self-inflicted isolation is paying off today kind of in that i’m on song number 13 for a (hopefully) 16-18 song record and ran a mile and watched good burger and it’s not even 5 o clock yet. before the end of the day i will make this song a demo and run another mile and maybe just maybe i won’t have a sip of alcohol. i’d hate to count my chickens before they hatch, though.
boyfriend gets here in 6 days. today is the first time in a week or so that i’ve felt really motivated, musically. hopefully it’s the beginning of an extended momentum. i’ll most likely start recording in just over a week. i’m really happy to be making a new waxahatchee record. hope it doesn’t suck.
