thanks to everyone for being a part of our band/last shows. i’m not in the least bit sad that we broke up because it feels like the natural order of things. you start a band with an intentional or subconscious list of goals. once you accomplish those goals you can either end it or keep going and tread water and neglect other creative outlets and put out shitty, half-hearted records and go on shitty, tense tours. ps eliot did everything i ever wanted ps eliot to do and for that i am extremely happy and grateful. the last 4 or 5 years were probably some of the best and most important years of my life and all the support we’ve gotten means more to me than you know. i’m so excited about the waxahatchee tour and ‘american weekend’ finally being released. everything is happening just as it should and that feels great.
